Healing the Inner Mother: A journey Home to Your Feminine

Somewhere beneath the doing, the holding, the being fine... there is a woman still waiting to be mothered.

This is your invitation back to her.

The mother wound doesn't just live in memory. It lives in the body: in the chest that stays braced, the breath that never quite drops, and the quiet vigilance of a woman who learned to give before she ever learned to receive. It shapes how you love, how you trust other women, and how much softness you allow yourself to hold.

This afternoon is a bridge inward: a somatic, nervous-system-informed space to gently meet what's been asking for your attention. Not to analyze it, but to feel it, honour it, and begin to release what no longer needs to be carried.

As the body softens, something ancient begins to stir: your own inner feminine, steady and unhurried. The part of you that knows how to receive instead of earn. That trusts other women instead of guarding against them. That mothers herself with the same tenderness she's spent a lifetime giving away.

You'll leave with more ease in your body, a felt sense of connection, to yourself, to the women around you, and a simple anchor to return to whenever the old bracing returns.

This is the work of coming home.

Emily Hopkins

facilitator

Emily Hopkins is a Somatic and Intuitive Leadership Mentor, and the founder of The Nourished Soul Method™. Her body of work guides women back into relationship with their bodies, their intuition, and their own power. Her work blends nervous-system-informed coaching, trauma-aware somatic healing, and intuitive energy work back with a grounded fusion of science and spirituality that meets women exactly where they are.

Before this path, Emily spent most of her life surviving, masking, and quietly holding it together while disconnected from her own body. Her journey out of hyper-independence and into softness shapes how she holds space today: never from theory alone, but from lived experience first.

She holds certifications in Nervous System Informed Coaching, Trauma-Informed Somatic Healing, Breathwork Facilitation, 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, Thai Yoga Massage, Myofascial Release and Nervous System Teacher Training, and Reiki I & II, alongside a B.A. in Psychology from Brock University.

She loves creating transformational spaces for women like you to go inward, cut through the noise and move forward feeling authentic, liberated, and free!

Kat

Facilitator

Welcome to the healing pause through creative, calming sound bathing. A variety of instruments and sound makers are added into the mix in a way to bring back grounding and self.  A chance to move inward. It's not just about the sound but about the experience ( ie, lighting, eye pillows, fragrance....) it's a sensory experience that allows the return of the vulnerable within us in a safe, protected nurturing environment. Hoping that emergence from the experience will open creative channels within the recipient to better embrace the life they were meant to!

kind words from clients

"Sovereign was sch a beautiful and thoughtfully curated day.  From the moment I arrive, I felt welcomed, comfortable and able to just be.  Emily has such a natural gift  for bringing people together and creating spaces that feel meaningful, supportive and genuine.  Her passion for this work is so evident, and her wisdom shine through in everything she does.

The combination of connections, reflection, movement and rest was exactly what I needed.  I left feeling lighter, grounded and so grateful for the experience.  I would whole heartedly recommend Emily's retreat, programs, coaching or really any of her offerings.

There is so much intention and heart behind  what she creates and you can truly feel it when you're in her presence."

"We had the pleasure of spending an evening here (Marcallis) after a wellness event. The octagon room with 4 beds was so much fun and the view from the living room is awesome!! The birds flittering around the pond kept us entertained as well. The space is clean, comfortable and very welcoming. An amazing place for a bachlorette or girls weekend away. Host Lisa is amazing and no detail was overlooked."

“My time at Marcallis was so lovely. It’s such a beautiful, unique and inspiring space — welcoming, comfortable and absolutely full of character. It has such a special energy to it, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave!

One of my favourite moments was celebrating all of the women at the end of the Sovereign workshop and cheering each other on. It felt really special and empowering. I also loved sharing a meal together in such a beautiful space and then just sitting around chatting and connecting after such a great day. Those simple moments of connection really stood out to me.

I thought the whole day flowed really well, and we had everything we needed. The space made it feel easy to settle in, relax and enjoy the experience.

So many possibilities (for this space)! I loved the idea of house concerts. Sound baths or creative workshops would also be beautiful in that space. I could even see intimate small-group retreats or, if it aligned with the space and what you’re open to hosting, plant-medicine-focused experiences. There are honestly so many directions you could take it!

I truly didn’t want to leave! And I hope to be back soon.”
